About
Aseneskak Casino is an Indigenous-owned and operated 20,000 square foot gaming venue in the Opaskwayak Cree Nation, just north of The Pas, Manitoba, roughly 630 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg. Opened in February 2002, it was the first provincial First Nations casino in Canada and remains a cornerstone of the Opaskwayak Cree economy. The floor holds more than 170 slot machines alongside live Blackjack, Three Card Poker, Pai Gow Poker and Roulette, with regular Texas Hold'em tournaments on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Facilities include the First Nations-themed Eagle's Nest restaurant and lounge, live entertainment and RV-friendly parking on Highway 10.
