About
Ballys Atlantic City Claridge Tower refers to the historic Claridge Hotel, a 24-story Atlantic City landmark opened in 1930 and once the tallest building in New Jersey. The adjacent Claridge Hotel and Casino was incorporated into Ballys Atlantic City in 2003 and renamed the Claridge Tower, with its in-house casino branded The Ridge. Casino gaming inside The Ridge ceased in 2012 following a 2008 lounge-casino renovation. In 2013 Caesars Entertainment sold the tower to TJM Properties, which reopened it as the independent Claridge Hotel in 2014.
