Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel has operated on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas since 1951, founded by Texas gambler Benny Binion as the original Horseshoe Club. The historic property hosted the inaugural World Series of Poker in 1970 and pioneered amenities like carpeted floors and airport shuttles. Today it features table games, slots, video poker, a poker room, sportsbook and the Hotel Apache rooms. The casino has been owned by TLC Casino Enterprises since March 2008.
