Calder Race Course, now branded as Calder Casino, is a Churchill Downs Incorporated property at 21001 Northwest 27th Avenue in Miami Gardens, Florida. The original racetrack opened on May 6, 1971, and the 100,000 square foot casino was added with a January 2010 grand opening. The gaming floor features approximately 1,100 slot and video poker machines plus electronic table games for blackjack, roulette, and a bingo room, all licensed by the Florida Division of Pari-Mutuel Wagering. Live thoroughbred racing was leased to the Stronach Group in 2014 under the Gulfstream Park West meet, and dining options include The Buffet, Lucky's Restaurant, and the Center Bar.
