About
Costa Marina was a Costa Cruises vessel converted from the 1969 container ship Axel Johnson and entering passenger service in 1990 after rebuilding at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa. The ship featured an onboard casino with slots and table games and was marketed primarily to German-speaking passengers from 2002 onward. Costa retired the ship in 2011 and chartered her to Harmony Cruise of South Korea as Harmony Princess. The vessel was later scrapped and the Costa-branded casino is no longer in operation.
