About
Costa Mediterranea was a Costa Cruises Spirit-class vessel completed in 2003 at Kvaerner Masa-Yards Helsinki New Shipyard. During her 18 years with Costa, the ship operated an onboard casino with slot machines and table games while sailing Mediterranean, Baltic, South American, Middle East and Indian Ocean itineraries. After being sold to CSSC Carnival in 2018, the ship was delivered in 2021 and entered service for Adora Cruises in 2023, later renamed Adora Mediterranea. The Costa-branded casino is no longer in operation.
