About
Costa Romantica was a Costa Cruises Classica-class vessel built by Fincantieri at Marghera, Italy and entering service in November 1993. During her years with Costa, the ship offered an onboard casino with slots and table games on European and Asian itineraries. Following a 90 million euro refit in 2011 the vessel was renamed Costa neoRomantica and from 2017 was assigned to the Asian market. Costa sold the ship to Celestyal Cruises in 2020 and it was later beached for scrapping in Pakistan in 2021; the Costa-branded casino is no longer in operation.
