About
Crooked River Roundup is an annual rodeo and pari-mutuel horse racing meet held at the Crook County Fairgrounds in Prineville, Oregon. Pari-mutuel horse racing was added in 1967 and continues each July, drawing the largest daily handle and average daily attendance of any track in Oregon. The PRCA-sanctioned rodeo runs in late June with hundreds of professional rodeo contestants competing for over 100,000 USD in prize money. The event is licensed for pari-mutuel wagering by the Oregon Racing Commission and is not a traditional casino property.
