About
Caronia was a Cunard Line ocean liner originally built in 1973 by Swan Hunter in England as MS Vistafjord for Norwegian America Line. Cunard acquired the vessel in 1983 with its purchase of Norwegian America Cruises and operated her under the Vistafjord name until a late 1999 refit, after which she was rebranded Caronia. The ship featured an onboard casino with slot machines and table games during her Cunard career. Caronia departed Cunard service in late 2004 following her sale to Saga Cruises and the Cunard-branded casino is no longer in operation.
