Edgewater Casino was a land-based casino formerly located at the Plaza of Nations in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia. It opened in February 2005 and was later purchased out of bankruptcy by Paragon Gaming in September 2006 for 43 million dollars. The casino closed permanently on 29 September 2017, the same day Parq Vancouver opened across the street and assumed its gaming licence for 75 table games and 600 slot machines. The former Edgewater space has since been converted into an event and convention centre.
