Hipódromo de Monterrico, also known as El Coloso de Surco, is a Thoroughbred horse racing facility opened in 1960 in the Santiago de Surco district of Lima, Peru. The complex includes a one and one-eighth mile dirt racetrack with a one-mile inside turf track, plus the Derby Gran Casino on the property grounds. Regular flat race meets run Thursday through Sunday afternoons with night racing on Fridays and weekends, hosting the annual Derby Nacional. Operated by the Jockey Club del Perú, the facility seats approximately 8,000 spectators.
