About
The Macau Jockey Club Racing Complex was a horse racing venue in Taipa, Macau, with an oval racetrack featuring a 1,600 metre outer turf track and an inner 1,400 metre sand track. The grandstand seated up to 15,000 spectators and an adjacent five-storey racing complex building accommodated 3,000 more. The club began life as the Macau Trotting Club in 1980 and was reorganised as a thoroughbred racing operation in 1989. The Macau Jockey Club held its final race meeting on 30 March 2024 and ceased operations on 1 April 2024.
