About

Nad Al Sheba Racecourse was a horse racing venue in Dubai operated by the Dubai Racing Club from its formal opening in 1992. The course featured a 2,200 m left-handed dirt track and a turf course used during the November to March racing season. It hosted the inaugural Dubai World Cup in 1996, helping put Dubai on the global racing map. The racecourse was demolished in 2009 and replaced by the Meydan Racecourse for the 2010 Dubai World Cup.
