Ninja was the consumer brand of SafeEnt Ltd, a Maltese subsidiary of the Stockholm-listed Global Gaming 555, marketed in Sweden through ninja.se and ninjacasino.com. The Sweden online casino held a Spelinspektionen licence at re-regulation in 2019 but the licence was revoked in June 2019 over serious deficiencies in anti-money laundering, KYC, and social responsibility controls. A subsequent attempt by Finnplay subsidiary Viral Interactive to relaunch the brand in February 2020 was blocked by the regulator. Ninja-branded sites no longer operate as licensed Swedish online casinos.
