About
Hotel Mont Parnes was a luxury hotel and is now the Regency Casino Mont Parnes, located on Mount Parnitha north of Athens, Greece. The original hotel was designed by architect Pavlos Mylonas and built between 1958 and 1961, with a casino licence granted in 1971 making it the first casino in the Attica region. The hotel ceased operations in 1974 but the casino has continued. It is operated by Regency Entertainment and owned by Hellenic Casino of Parnitha S.A., with the Greek State Holdings Agency (HRADF) holding 49 percent of share capital, under licence from the Hellenic Gaming Commission (EEEP).
