About
Casino de Bagneres-de-Luchon is a Pyrenean landmark complex constructed in 1880 by architect Raymond Castex in a historicist classical style and enlarged in 1929 by architect Henri Martin in Art Deco. The building features a 100-metre-long brick and stone facade with a main body flanked by two return wings, and the interior preserves a grand staircase, a 270-seat theatre classified as a historical monument, and a veranda with stained glass by Louis-Victor Gesta. The grounds include a 4-hectare park designed by landscape architect Chevallier and a Norman pavilion. Located at 10 Boulevard Ludovic Dardenne in 31110 Bagneres-de-Luchon, the venue is a heritage building with gaming currently closed.
