The company, which holds licenses in these Baltic nations as well as in the United Kingdom, will now allow players to place event contracts on a wide range of topics.

The prediction markets will cover categories such as elections, political outcomes, weather patterns, celebrity news, and other local and international events. This move marks a shift from traditional sports betting into broader event-based wagering.

7bet's licenses in Lithuania and Latvia enable it to operate legally in those markets, and the new product aligns with growing interest in prediction markets globally. The operator has not disclosed specific launch dates or financial terms related to the rollout.

The expansion reflects a trend among iGaming firms to diversify beyond sports betting, tapping into consumer curiosity about non-sporting events. 7bet's existing UK license may also allow future cross-market opportunities, though no such plans have been announced.
