Jewel Nightclub at Aria to Close Permanently in November 2026

MGM Resorts and Tao Group Hospitality have mutually agreed to shut the Aria nightclub after ten years of operation on the Las Vegas Strip.

Jewel Nightclub at Aria to Close Permanently in November 2026

Jewel Nightclub, the nightlife venue inside the Aria Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip, will shut its doors for good on Nov. 21, 2026, closing out roughly a decade of operation at the property.

The closure was confirmed by MGM Resorts International, which owns the Aria, in a press statement issued on Monday. According to the company, the decision was reached jointly by the resort operator and Tao Group Hospitality, the nightlife and dining group that has run the club in partnership with MGM.

Jewel opened as part of the Aria's entertainment and nightlife lineup and has carried the Tao Group name through its ten-year tenure at the resort. The venue's departure removes one of the nightlife options available to guests at the 4,000-plus-room complex, which sits at the center of the CityCenter development on the Strip.

MGM's statement described the move as a mutual agreement between the two companies, and no further explanation for the timing of the closure was provided. The announcement did not address what will happen to the space Jewel currently occupies, nor did it indicate whether a replacement venue is planned.

Tao Group Hospitality has not issued separate public remarks on the closure beyond its participation in the joint decision. The company's other Las Vegas operations were not mentioned in the statement.

The Nov. 21, 2026 date gives the venue a final run of more than a year from the announcement. For MGM, the change marks another adjustment to the non-gaming amenities offered across its Strip portfolio, where nightlife and dayclub venues are typically operated through partnerships with third-party hospitality brands rather than directly by the resort company.
